According to rules of Vietnam Immigration Department, Vietnam visa requirement for Benin citizen of all ages is same. And a Vietnam visa is required for Benin children wishing to enter Vietnam for any purpose. However, there are some notices about visa to Vietnam for Benin children as below:

The requirement to get Vietnam visa for children is divided into two cases: Benin children have a shared passport with their parents or Benin children have their own passport.

In the first case, if children share passport with their parents, to apply for a visa to Vietnam for the children, parents should send us scanned copy of the first page of shared passport via email: support@vietnamvisa.com . In addition, information of the children’s father or mother is also required to submit into the same visa application with the children. We will submit information of both children and their parent to the Immigration Department of Vietnam to issue a pre-approved Vietnam visa for you.

In second case, if children have their own passport: the procedure to apply for Vietnam visa for children is same as the procedure for adults with following steps:

-          Complete Vietnam visa application form online with information exactly as noted in passport

-          Make payment for visa approval letter fee via Onepay, Paypal, Western Union or Bank Transfer

-          Receive the visa approval letter via your registered email after 3 working days

Currently, Benin children can apply for 1 moth (single/ multiple) visa, 3 moth (single/ multiple) visa. The cost to get Vietnam visa for Benin children is same as the cost of Vietnam visa for adults. Please do note that according to rules of the Department of Vietnam Immigration, 3 moth visa is categorized as a business visa, and it will not be issued for alone children. Thus to apply for 3 moth visa, the children must have at least an adult travel together with them to Vietnam.
