Therefore, no matter what port you proposed and change, it is still applicable. You are not required to apply for a new visa in this case.

3.      For those who have visa sticked on your passport already

This visa type allows you to enter Vietnam freely via land, sea, or air borders. Therefore, you do not need to worry about which port you enter, and whether you can change the port into Vietnam.

For minimizing the efforts and time getting visa stamped by an Embassy of Vietnam, the Immigration Department of Vietnam issue visa approval code, a kind of visa approval document. Foreigners can request visa approval code online and get visa in the quickest way at Embassy of Vietnam.

This way of sourcing visa is highly recommended for bus and ship travellers since visa on arrival and Evisa are not thoroughly applicable for all these borders.
