The first thing that you should consider carefully is which way is suitable for you to apply for Vietnam visa from India. Normally, there are two ways for you to apply for Vietnam visa from India: apply at Vietnam embassy/consulate or apply online

1. Procedure to get Vietnam visa at Vietnam embassy/consulate

This applying way requires you to go to Embassy of Vietnam in India directly. You should bring you original passport (the passport must be valid 6 months upward), 2 passport-sized photo, and money to pay for visa fee. Second, you should book an air ticket right after you receive it. Third, present the printed letter with your original passport at the checkpoint to get on plane travelling to Vietnam.
