According to the latest Vietnam Immigration policy, Portuguese as well as foreigners from almost countries can get visa with the validity length of 3 months at the maximum.

Basing on the purpose of entry, Vietnam visa can be categorized into 2 usual types: tourist visa, and business visa. Normally, Vietnam tourist visa has validity length in 1 month, and the validity length of Vietnam business visa is 3 months.

After entering Vietnam by tourist or business visa, foreigners can get Vietnam visa extension or Vietnam visa renewal to be able to stay in Vietnam longer than your visa’s permitted duration without exiting the country. Currently, the longest Vietnam visa extension Portuguese can get is also 3 month visa (either single entry or multiple entries visa).
