What are the requirements for Maldives to get Vietnam visa?

Maldives citizens planning to enter Vietnam for tourist or business purpose are required to apply for Vietnam visa.

There are some notices for Maldives to get Vietnam visa that should be kept in mind as follows:

-          Having a passport of six month valid at least

-          There are at least two blank passport pages at least

-          Having clear purpose of entry: tourist, visit, business, or study.

Maldives citizens can get a visa to Vietnam by 2 ways:

1. Getting Vietnam visa online: The  fastest, simplest and cheapest way

+ Fill the application form online

+ Pay the visa approval fee

+ Wait for around 2 working days to receive letter of approval issued by Immigration of Department

Then get the printed letter, bring the letter together with original passport and stamping fee to get Vietnam visa stamped at Vietnam airport.

2. Getting Vietnam visa at Vietnam Embassy or Consulate

At present, there is no Vietnam Embassy in Maldives, therefore; to apply for a visa to Vietnam directly at Vietnam Embassy, Maldives  citizens must find the nearest the Embassy of Vietnam  to submit the visa request . Before going to the Embassy for applying for Vietnam visa, Maldives citizens should contact the staff in charge of Vietnam Embassy to arrange the meeting time and the required documents.
