Vietnam suspends visa on arrival for all foreign visitors

Due to the outbreak of Coronavirus disease (COVID-19), Vietnam Government and Vietnam Immigration has suspended Vietnam visa on arrival for all foreign visitors since 12:00 March 15th 2020.

Until March 15th, 2020, there are 54 confirmed cases with Corona virus and 102 suspected infection cases in Vietnam. Meanwhile, there are 157.046 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in 153 countries and territories. In the face of the fast and complicated movements of the Covid-19 on all over the world, Vietnam Government announced:

  • Vietnam suspends visa on arrival for all foreign visitors regardless nationality or territory.
  • Vietnam has temporarily not allowed entry of travellers from the 26 Schengen countries and the UK, or those who have visited or transited in these countries in the past 14 days. Specifically, the list of these countries including: United Kingdom, Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzeland.
