Updated information about Vietnam electronic visa

Identifying the various convenient from piloting issuance Vietnam electronic visa, Vietnam Government has decided to expand the list of countries whose citizens can apply for Evisa through the Resolution No. 79/NQ-CP.

Who can get Vietnam electronic visa

According to the Resolution, from July 01st 2020, citizens of 80 countries in the following list can apply for electronic visa.

Where can you use Vietnam evisa to enter the country?

The Resolution No. 79/NQ-CP also indicate that the list of Vietnam international airport/ border gates where foreign visitors can enter and exit the country by electronic visa. In the list, there are 8 Vietnam international airports including:

- Noi Bai international airport

- Tan Son Nhat international airport

- Da Nang international airport

- Cam Ranh international airport

- Cat Bi international airport

- Can Tho international airport

- Phu Quoc international airport

- Phu Bai international airport

Foreign visitors also can use Vietnam evisa to enter and leave the countries through one of sixteen Vietnam international border gates as following:

- Tay Trang border gate (in Dien Bien province)

- Mong Cai border gate (in Quang Ninh province)

- Huu Nghi border gate (in Lang Son province)

- Lao Cai boder gate (in Lao Cai province)

- Na Meo border gate (in Thanh Hoa province)

- Nam Cam border gate (in Nghe An province)

- Cau Treo border gate (in Ha Tinh province)

- Cha Lo border gate (in Quang Binh province)

- La Lay border gate (in Quang Tri province)

- Lao Bao border gate (in Quang Tri province)

- Bo Y border gate (in Kon Tum province)

- Moc Bai border gate (in Tay Ninh province)

- Xa Mat border gate (in Tay Ninh province)

Except for the updating about the list of nationality whose citizens can get e-visa and the list of Vietnam international airports/ borders/ sea ports where e-visa is acceptable, there is no chance about requirements or procedure of applying for e-visa.
