Vietnam visa on arrival for Korea citizen

Question:

Hi, I have an ordinary Korean passport, and I plan to visit Vietnam in the next month. Is it possible to get Vietnam visa on arrival for Korea citizens?

Answer:

According to news updated from The Immigration Department of Vietnam, Korea citizens wishing to travel to Vietnam with the stay duration of less than 15 days, Vietnam visa is not required.

To enter Vietnam with 15 day exemption visa, Korean citizens just need to prepare their own ordinary passport with 2 blank pages and 6 month validity at least. When they arrive at Vietnam airport, Korean citizens should show the passport to Immigration officers of Vietnam to get Vietnam visa exemption seal stamped onto your passport.

For Korea citizens wish to enter Vietnam to visit and stay in the country longer than 15 days or Koreans entering Vietnam for business purpose, applying for a Vietnam visa approval before departure is required.
