Notice for Sri Lanka when applying for Vietnam Visa

Sri Lanka passport holders need a visa to Vietnam before entering the country. There are some notices for Sri Lanka when applying for Vietnam Visa:

Firstly, Vietnam visa fee for Sri Lankans. Getting official Vietnam visa, as usual, Sri Lanka applicants need to pay two kinds of fees: approval fee and stamping fee. The applied Vietnam visa approval fee for Sri Lanka citizens is not same as that fee for citizens of other countries. It is USD 190 upward. To get specific fee details, please do not hesitate to contact us. For the stamping fee, it is depended on the number of times you travel to and fro Vietnam. It does not depend on the length of time you will stay in Vietnam(1 month or 3 months). You will pay directly to Immigration Officers by USD cash. The applied stamping fee is same to all travelers.

Secondly, Sri Lanka citizens need to send us the copy of the applicant’s scanned passport so that Vietnam Immigration Department will issue a correct visa approval letter for you. Because, the approval fee for Sri Lanka citizens is high, in case, you send us the wrong information of applicant, the issued visa approval is wrong too. This means you cannot enter Vietnam. In case, you find out any mistake prior to your departure date, you must re- apply. And the approval fee must be paid again.

Thirdly, for processing time, it takes about 3 or 4 working days (standard service) or 1 or 2 working days (urgent service) for Sri Lanka citizens to get issued a visa approval letter. So when you have a firmed plan to Vietnam, you can apply online for a via approval letter. The arrival date should be the earliest estimated arrival date as you can enter Vietnam.

Last but not least, you should remember the procedures of applying a visa to Vietnam for Sri Lanka citizens. Other way, you can submit the online visa application at https://evietnamvisa.com/ . After 3 or 4 working days with normal service, you will receive a visa approval letter issued by the Immigration Department of Vietnam.

After receiving the visa approval letter, you should print it out to get on board and stamp Vietnam Visa on arrival when checking in Vietnam airport.
