How long can Uganda citizens stay in Vietnam?

Answer:  

Uganda citizens wishing to enter Vietnam, a Vietnam visa stamped onto your passport or a visa approval letter beforehand is a must. Currently, according to the rules of Vietnam Immigration Department, Uganda citizens can travel to Vietnam with the longest Vietnam visa type of 3 month.

Currently, basing on purpose entry, Vietnam visa includes 2 types: Vietnam business visa and Vietnam tourist visa. Vietnam tourist visa has validity of 30days, and Vietnam business visa has validity of 90 days.

In case travelers want to stay longer than your visa’s temporary duration, you can extend for your tourist or business visa. Procedure to get Vietnam visa extension for Uganda instructed as below:  

Vietnam visa extension/ renewal times depends on the category of your current Vietnam visa stamped onto your passport B3 or C1,etc. , the port of your arrival in Vietnam (or where you got the visa(s) stamped). Currently, all Vietnam visa types can be extended or renewed 3 or 4 continuous times.

To extend or renew Vietnam visa, firstly, Uganda travelers should send us the scan of all Vietnam visa(s) stamped onto your passport via our support email: support@evietnamvisa.com . Our staff will check and confirm about visa types you can extend as well as specific fee. Then you should submit your original passport to our office. After 7 to 1 working days, you can come back our office to pay extension fee and get your passport with Vietnam visa extended.  

As the cost of Vietnam visa extension very expensive, it is not recommended if your visa is going to be expired and you are going to exit Vietnam. In this case, you should apply for a new Vietnam visa.  It is very simple and quick to get a visa approval letter to be stamped new Vietnam visa for Uganda. You just need to complete Vietnam visa application form online and visa fee. After making payment for visa approval letter, you will receive the letter issued by Vietnam Immigration Department within 3 working days. With the issued letter, airport Vietnam visa for Uganda will be stamped onto your passport upon your arrival at Vietnam airport

If you work for a long time in Vietnam and you have got a work permit. Applied for a temporary residence card valid from 1 to 3 months is suggested. In case of without a work permit, you should apply for 3 moth Vietnam visa first and then submit your passport to extend Vietnam visa in case you want to stay more in Vietnam.
