Yes, children as citizens of all countries in the world entering Vietnam are required to have Vietnam visa. The procedure of getting Vietnam visa for foreign children is almost the same that for foreign adults.
Normally, children may have their own passport or share with their parents.
In case they share passport with their parents, the parents should scan the shared passport when applying for Vietnam visa for the children and send to support@evietnamvisa.com . In this case, not only the information of the children is required, but also the presentation of their mother/father’s information should be submitted.
In case the children have their own passport, they can apply for Vietnam visa in the same procedures as adults.
Notice when children sharing their passport with their parents and applying for 3 month visa: As 3 month Vietnam visa is categorized as business visa, it is a must that there is at least one adult coming together with the children to Vietnam on the same date and request the same visa type. The child alone cannot apply for 3 month visa.
To apply for Vietnam visa for children, just do following steps:

- Make payment for Vietnam visa approval fee
- Receive approval after 1 to 2 working days.
Then the letter should be printed and put in the same place with their passport for the convenience of presenting them to the airline departing to Vietnam.
The approved children can get Vietnam visa stamped on arrival at Vietnam airport.
The visa fee applied for children is not different from that for adults.
