Question:
My fiancé is working in Vietnam, and I’m planning to be with him and were planning for doing business by exporting, and that we won't be married in time to get a spouse visa, so what is the best thing to do for Vietnam visas....get a business recommendation letter from a company, or what, or what about if you have enough cash, can you come in with the cash under a business visa (Flip flops, sandals, and beach items). Please give me some Vietnam visa advice for foreigners getting married to Vietnamese. Many thanks for your help!
Answer:
According policy of Vietnam Immigration Department, Vietnam visa is exempted for foreigners got married to Vietnamese, and applied for Vietnam visa exemption seal at Vietnam Immigration offices or at Embassy of Vietnam already.
In case you will not be married in the time to get spouse visa, you should apply for Vietnam visa to be able to enter Vietnam firstly.
Then, when you entered Vietnam and got married to your Vietnamese fiancé already, you can ask your Vietnamese wife/ husband to contact directly with Vietnam Immigration office in the place you living to apply for Vietnam visa exemption that allows you to stay in Vietnam from 3 to 5 years.
In addition, as you are not sure about the time you stay in Vietnam for working, applying for 3 month visa is highly recommended. You also can apply for 1 month visa, and then extend your current Vietnam visa to stay longer than your noted validity length. However, Vietnam visa extension fee is much more expensive than the applied fee for 3 month visa. For 3 month Vietnam business visa, the applied fee is USD 30/ person for single entry and USD 70/person for multiple entries.
To get 3 month business visa, the best way is applying online through legitimate Vietnam visa agent as EVIETNAMVISA. By applying for business Vietnam visa via our service, no business recommendation letter is required. Applicants just need to submit visa application online, and follow all steps guided by the system. Then you should make payment for visa applied fee.
After completing all requirements for visa application and visa approval fee, applicants will receive visa approval letter issued by Vietnam Immigration Department within 2 working days.
In rush situation, you can speed up processing time with urgent service (1 working day processing) by paying USD 10 plus or super urgent service (4 working hours) by paying USD 25 plus.
What you need to do after receiving visa approval letter is getting a printed copy of the letter and put it into same place together your original passport. When you arrive at Vietnam airport, you should show visa approval letter to Vietnam Immigration officers to get Vietnam business visa stamped onto your passport.
